Comments: It is time that we no longer accept mediocrity from our football program. We have all the tools necessary to be a great football program and it is time we strive to be a great program. Dump Dorrell and bring in a real coach like Steve Kragthorpe!

Comments: GO BRUINS. Karl has done his best. Nice guy, good Bruin. Time to move on. We need to make a $ commitment to an established coach a la Howland. Rich Rodriguez Me gusta. ALUMNI HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS COACH. LAST YEAR'S SEASON WAS UNACCEPTABLE EVEN AT 10-2. GO BRUINS.

Comments: KD is a great man and has done a great job healing our program following the prior regime. He has laid a solid foundation for the next step, however KD is not the next step. He was a bridge to that next step. UCLA is worthy of a seasoned head coach, one that has a record of leading teams to greater success than achieved prior to his arrival. Dan, you made fantastic, focused hires in our other two high profile men's sports -- basketball and baseball. Now it's time to complete the triange before we languish in mediocrity. Remember: good enough is the enemy of great. Thank you!

Comments: I'm an alum, and season ticket holder since 2000. If we do not get a better head coach soon, then there is no reason for me to waste my hard earned money by supporting a team which UCLA clearly doesn't take seriously. UCLA deserves better.. the fans, students and alumni deserve better.. make it happen, Mr.Guerrero!

Comments: As much as I would have loved to see a former Bruin succeed as head coach, I want even more for our program to be restored to respectability as a successful program. I am aftraid that Karl Dorrell has, after four years, proven he cannot do so. I feel we should no longer provide on-the-job training for new head coaches, such as Bob Toledo and Steve Lavin. We are not a "minor league" for football and basketball coaches. After being a season ticket holder since 1969, and having attended UCLA games regularly since 1962, as a student, I feel it is high time we took that road. The experiment has failed. Let us now seek a move to the next level and leave experimentation behind!

Comments: I've been a season ticket holder for eight years. Having followed (lived and died) ucla football and basketball since 1956 (12 yrs old), and having endured the pain of so many disappointing football seaons through the years, signing this petition is the easiest decision I've ever made. It is time for Ucla to be consistently a BCS and nationasl contender. Dorrell can not achieve this.

Comments: Karl may be an alum and a nice guy but this is not a training ground. His inability for game managment and lack of continuity with assistant coaches tells me that things won't get better. The revenue generated from a top flight program will pay for whatever coach we need and there are plenty avialable. Act now before SC beats us 10 years in a row. 25 year season ticket holder and I have stopped going too.
