    Comments: You should mention we are one of the lowest paying districts in the county and the MAX pay is $78k. We should compare our pay to civilians with master's degrees, not "average" city workers such as trash men, and see just how low we are. Low pay results in lowest quality applicants. A good teacher I know quit to go back waiting tables because it paid more!

    Comments: I agree with the motion of SDEA in requesting Mr. Dobbs to publicly apologize concerning his error in reporting salary and benefits information and for voice of sandiego to retract this article in which they used to bait the public sentiment against teachers in public education.

    Comments: I read the article the day it was released and could not believe how reckless, misleading and irresponsible Stan Dobbs acted. My next thought was that he needs to be held accountable for such slander and misrepresentation. I appreciated Mr. Kowba's swift response in an earnest attempt to clear the blatant propaganda put out to the public. Stan Dobbs has no business working in our district and should immediately and swiftly be replaced by a responsible and capable employee who can actually help our district with the budget. An extracted apology would mean absolutely nothing coming from him. He has no credibility or integrity. SDUSD clearly will not benefit from his services and putting him on our payroll would add insult to injury.

I have also been the recipient of abusive administrators who because they are insecure could not treat staff fairly and kindly... My work ethic is over and beyond the norm! Our profession is under appreciated and under paid for our education, knowledge, and expertise. We are OWED this apology!! Dobbs spoke without the knowledge he needed and created disfavor toward good, hard working people!
