    Comments: Good for you for doing something about this. The govt will never change unless the common people instigate it. This is an absolute mockery of justice. It is true that more severe consequences will not stop everyone from drinking and driving but it will stop a lot. In germany, if you drive with over 0.1 BAC you can lose your license for the rest of your life. I think that we should adopt that here in the US, as well as anyone convicted of drunk driving a second time should lose their license forever. For those who say they have a right to drink, enjoy, but you have no right to kill people by driving, and if you do, you should spend a long time in prison and never drive again.
