DROP THE CHARGES AGAINST THE AUSTRALIAN TROOPS. Since when has it been a crime during war to protect ones self,along with ones mates.In a night time offensive ON February 12 2009 Australian special forces soldiers were fired upon in a night time operation,they responded to this attack with weapon fire and grenades, it was not until the firing had stopped that they realised what had happened. As quoted by a member of the special forces (We were shocked to find that innocents had died, they are the people we are meant to protect). Two of the men, known only as soldiers A and B, strongly protested their innocence. A third man who who it appears will be charged with disobeying orders, also strongly protests his innocence. We ask that the greater community of the RSL gets behind this petition and supports their young mates, these young men do not deserve this kind of punishment,just recently Keith Payne VC spoke out and view his opinion.
