It has occurred to myself and many others whom I speak with that there is a very large potential hazard just waiting to happen to each and every one of us every day we leave our homes. This occurs simply by us taking the chance of becoming a potential obstacle for one of the hundreds of thousands of senior citizens that are swerving our roads each and every day. We must put a stop to elders over the age of 55 from endangering our lives and there own. When do we stop the accidents from happening? Most people may not see the problem until they are at a funeral for a family member or their best friend because a driver aged 74 couldn't see the stoplight turn red or their reaction time just wasn't fast enough to stop in time for the 4 yr. old that ran into the street. Maybe now you'll see where I'm coming from. We have a problem at hand that needs to be taken care of and I pray with the help of all the drivers and non-drivers we can help to get a law passed which will require all drivers retake a written and behind the wheel test at the ages of 55, 60, 65 and every 2 years thereafter. This will help to ensure that all drivers are capable of driving and understand all driving laws. If you know what I'm talking about you will do the right thing. Please Help.
