Comments: 18 year olds are going to drink anyway, and if they do it underage, then a lot of times they have to hide it from their parents and then may make stupid decisions (ala driving home from somewhere drunk instead of admitting drunkeness to parents and having them pick them up.) Legalization for underage people is completely necessary for a safer America. And by the way, THEY CAN GO TO WAR AND DIE RATHER THAN GOING TO A PUB AND HAVING A GOOD TIME WHAT IS THAT

Comments: I'm 19 and im moving with my husband to guam in september because he is in the military. i would like to go out and have a glass of wine or a beer with my own husband without having someone tell me that im not old enough. if you would like to say that then raise the legal marriage age as well while your at it because obviously we're all to young.

Comments: Yes, the drinking age should be lowered due to the problems with todays generation. They should not feel that they must rebel to drink but that it is ok and be taught drink responsibly! Mother of a 16 year old

Comments: My 19 year old daughter was charged with a misdemeaner for underage possession of alcohol. She was minding her own business on a Clearwater FL beach. There was no proof of her having consumed alcohol and she even offered to take a breath test and yet the officer was able to make a bogus charge stick. i do not think an "adult" should be able to be charged with a misdeamener for an "adult" activity.

Comments: I think that the drinking age should be lowered to the age of 18 because if we take away the fact that "it is against the law to drink" than less people will be at the risk of hurting themselves. Who wants to so something excessively if they know that they can do it whenever they want. I also think that students that attend college should be allowed to drink...you are allowed to do everything else besides drink...why not give them the right
