We in Guadalupita depend on springs to supply us with our water; this massive oil and gas project would have a totally harmful effect on our peacefull and pure environment. I urge you to oppose this project.

    Comments: I am a citizen of Taos County who strongly supports efforts to restrict and carefully regulate any gas drilling. Ranches in San Luis County, CO have had water aquifers so polluted with chemicals that cattle abort calves. New Mexico citizens need to demand that Royal Dutch Shell does not pollute our aquifers. We need full disclosure of any chemicals being pumped into the ground to fracture rock. There is no going back, no way to clean up an aquifer after the water gets polluted. Royal Dutch Shell will be long gone when the cancers and disease are discovered a decade or two later. We have to demand regulation now! It is your responsibility to protect the citizens of Mora County. Please do your job effectively.
