I know that women of FATA are educating day by day but unfortunately they are being still keeping bereft from their fundamental rights by cause of their parental traditions. Most of them when they Pass HSSC exame then they prohibit to attend university, some of them attend university and got master degree but then they do not allow to do job or they married to non-literate men who do not allow them to get empowerment, to get participation in decision making and to do job. After becoming educated they also remain slaves and victims. After infraction of commitments they are being killed by parents/relatives/husbands/militants like Farida Afridi.

Farida Afridi was a tribal girl. She was belonged to financially vulnerable family. Farida had desired to be an educated girl to support her family. when she completed her education she joined a non government organisation-NGO named SAWERA. Sawera is working for women empowerment, women rights and education. After joining SAWERA organisation, militants started to threats and to torture her by telephone. One day she was coming to home, in the way militants were sat and waiting for her. When she arrived to the place "Malak Shaggah" militants martyred her and ran away from there and Farida Afridi washed her hands from dreams, hopes and life.
