Douglas Miller | I,like hundreds of other automobile buffs, were sure looking forward to this state-of-the-art drag racing facility to finally open. With LACR closing recently,we have no legal racing facilities to have fun with our cars .California Speedway is so overcrowded it's a joke.Sure hate to see all the time and effort go to waste on such a great place.I sure hope cooler heads can prevail and get this project back on track.
| 953 | Anonymous | I hope this drag strip gets built because there are alot of Marines in 29 Palms that would love to come an d enjoy it.It would keep them from going out and getting drunk or doing something very stupid. This would be a very relaxing thing to do.I enjoy watching cars and bikes racing. If there is any way to let me know if this strip is going to get built please let me know because myself and other co-workers would love to come and enjoy many weekends watching the racing.Thank you very much.

mike danford | i dont want to race my blown coupe on the streets of banning......700 hp is hard to handle between stoplights....i want a safe and legal racetrack to use when my front wheels are off the ground, that protects the front of my car, from hitting any local banning citizens...seems like common sense, to me...
Anonymous | Keep the racing off the streets

Doug Miller | Recently I received a letter from Todd Spitzer. In the letter he details a plan on what will happen if you are caught street racing. Has any sane person ever figured the causes of this dilemma? Do you think that over the past 40 years virtually every drag strip in So Cal has met their demise? Why not use our heads and meet the monster at it's origin. It's evident to me that the City of Banning has more money in it's coffers than it needs. Otherwise, why would it turn this type of revenue away? Of course, traveling thru Banning the overabundance of wealth is very well concede. Build the strip and let us all, young and old enjoy our past-time.
Justin Mallare | We NEED a safe place to run our cars and just have fun being around like minded people in a safe environment. It would really benefit the community because of more business.
Dan Quinn | You build this track , i will build a car, and pay to race it. We need this track, So. Cal. is the birthplace of drag racing, build the track it will generate money for the local economy, and a place for families to share the racing experience, if your a racer you know what i mean, thanks, Dan

Jason Phillips | Please Please Please finally start this project. This kind of venue is badly needed and would draw a large number of people from the surrounding areas.
Rabi Chehade | Keep the drag strip going. Too many strips have closed down and people wonder why street racing is on a rise. Though this will not completely eradicate street racing, it will be a step in the right direction and a safe place for enthusiasts to legally run their cars/morotcycles. Thanks for all your hard work.
