Please take into consideration the amount of money that will be lost in this city by not showcasing a autosport facitlity such as Drag City. This will put Banning on the Map everywhere other than to just the people that live in a 100 mile radius. This track will benefit the city and most of all the people of Banning financially. This is a greatly needed venue. Every Thursday night a small 1/8 mile Dragstrip in Irwindale Calif. is open to the public and the grandstands are COMPLETELY filled EVERY Thursday. The only reason they dont run more frequently is due to city ordanances. There is alot of money to be made for this city in need of financial income. |

participate with my hobby in the city of Banning.
I can not understand the reasoning at this point
for the change of heart, I am very happy to not
have changed my residence from Chicago
where our word and a hand shake still mean something.

It needs to be reorganized and put in the hands of people who can make it a reality. Southern California needs more places to race and Banning is a good location. Let's get it done! |

| 12 | Anonymous | We travel all around the southwest racing at different venues and there are lots more like me. We arrive in town generally on Friday nights and book rooms for two nights for the usual sat/sun race. While we pack food for the track, we generally will eat at a local establishment 2-3 times plus usually end up stopping at a local grocery store fo additional items. We then spend about $100 to fill the tank for the ride home. Now think about at least 300 more groups just like me showing up on your doorstep to enjoy a family weekend at the dragstrip. Put BANNING on the map! Support this project!! |

Economically this was a very poor desision and the fact is you still share the same air as Beaumont ! |
