Name: Karen Golightly on Jan 21, 2008Comments: The only winning solution: The Republicans must draft Bloomberg. If he runs as an indie, he loses, they lose. With Fred Thompson all but out, all other GOP choices stink. McCain's old and liberal. Romney's creepy. Giuliani's evil. Huckabee's the wrong Conservative. Clinton's the wrong woman. Obama's the wrong Black. I saw Bloomberg at a judicial swearing-in last Monday, and he's READY!: smart, sharp, confident, funny, snarky, grounded, aggressive. All that and irreproachable economics cred. MB with Thompson as VP would be genius.
