| 528 | Anonymous | On the night of the Texas Democratic Debate, the most often spoke words were I agree with Sen. Clinton, or I agree with Sen. Obama. While the democratic candidates make a valid point on the need for a change, the ability of the democratic party to articulate a coherent vision for future of America that addresses the reality of a 21st Century Superpower. One must consider the needs of domestic policies vis a vis the role of the United States in the International Community, and the responsibility of this country not only to its own economy but to the solvency of the greater international financial system.
While the democratic party has failed to appreciate the complexities of the situations currently facing America, both at home and abroad, the republican party too has failed too has failed us.
Every so often in the course of American politics, it becomes necessary for a third, and more articulate voice to emerge, one that does not appease us through over simplification of the issues, or focusing on one sector (foreign or domestic) of the issues alone. The successes of the 1990s were linked to the synergy that developed between US Economic Policy and US Foreign Policy.
Mayor Bloomberg, throw your hat into the ring, and rescue our cherished political system from the stagnation that is the true barrier to the full realization of the promise of America.

| 544 | Anonymous | PLEASE RUN Mr. Bloomberg. Mr. Obama's run has left me feeling desperate for this country. We need your pragmatism!!!!! |
| 545 | Graham Evans | |
| 546 | Wendy Chapman | I'm leaving the democratic party because they've lost their minds. I'm registering as an Independent.
I cannot support any of the likely candidates for president - Obama, McCain, maybe Nader. Bloomberg is the only person at this point that I would consider voting for if his name were on the ballot for president. Our country is at too critical a point after 7 years of GWB to leave it to war mongers and amateurs.
Please consider running. You have my vote. |
| 547 | Shaun Dulen | |
| 548 | Chele Butler | |
| 549 | Britt Nieto | I would vote for him. I love the fact that he appoints, Democrats, Republicans, diverse ethnicities and publicly gay figures, etc to positions of leadership, based on who is best qualified. That is what it should all be about and helping out the average person. Good luck! |
| 550 | Walter Wilson | Please consider an Independent run. Neither of the parties has an answer. It is time to develop a colition government |
