| 453 | Anonymous | This country needs someone like Churchill. Someone who knows things, rather than who will just parrot what "advisers" and pollsters say.
Sadly, today's crop of politicians are not statemen (or women); they pander with the hope of getting position or power or both. But, as with Archimedes, position is only valuable to accomplish something.
Bloomberg appears to be not only smart and someone who, like Churchill, knows things, but also seems to have the guts to do what he believes needs to be done.
We've had eight years or bluster and failed, disruptive policies (and I voted for Bush twice because his opponents seemed to be even less capable). We are, sadly, at a turning point--the onset of what some future Gibbon will mark as the Decline.
So, grasp the nettle of opportunity--you have a chance to really -- really -- make a difference! |
| 454 | Ryan Murphy | Please Mr. Bloomberg, do it for a non-partisan America; do it for a major step in eliminating political parties. |
| 455 | MICHAEL MCKENNA | we need to clean house in washington. Iam for a third party and I think bloomberg would be a good start |
| 456 | Matthew Thompson | If ever this country needed someone with your talent to lead us out of these dark times, it is now. Please consider running for the office of president and restore some sanity to this troubled country. |

| 458 | Lea Pitchon | Bloomberg is the perfect candidate. I am not satisfied with any of the democratic contenders. Bloomberg is the one we are hoping for. |
| 459 | Jennifer Woodworth | |
| 460 | Clayton Voyles | Please run. We need a CEO for president, not a politician. |
| 461 | Matthew Scout | We need someone with financial constraints! A proven Executive! |
| 462 | Terrence Dunne | The most effective Mayor in recent memory. |

| 464 | Marc Batko | The survival of the planet and the stability of the dollar would be more likely with Mike Bloomberg as president. The major candidates see "more boots on the ground" as a panacea. The American people deserve a choice with Mike Bloomberg in the race. The banking-, housing and credit-crises show we are living in unparalleled times. The weak dollar means it's harder to earn euros to pay for imported oil. We must invest in the infrastructure and reduce working hours as alternative economics urges. Uncoupling fromthe myths of corporate beneficence and trickle-down prosperity, we could counter the spectacle of private affluence and public squalor. |
| 465 | Emily Hunnicutt | |
| 466 | Marlene Skulnik | Please consider running. |
| 467 | David Larsen | GO MIKE! |
| 468 | Roger MacCormack | Thank you for cleaning up the city. You've handled the governor as no other mayor has done. You'll win if you want it. Nobody argues with success. |
| 469 | David Karls | If the choice becomes Clinton v McCain, I would vote for Mr. Bloomberg without another thought. |
| 470 | Thomas W. Smith | We need a strong business man and lots of experience. |

| 472 | David Martin | Please, save our cuontry... |

| 477 | Timothy Fahey | |
| 478 | Anonymous | We really need someone to rescue this country. That can only be done by someone who is clear thinking like Mike and someone who is not owned buy special interests. Please run Mike. |
| 479 | Jose Talamantes | America needs more choice. |
| 480 | Jaime Tintor | A true leader with the foresight of Obama and the record of service of the likes of Clinton and McCain. Someone who will set this country MOVING again! |

| 484 | Harold F. Schmidt | If he does not run, my wife and I probably will not vote. |
| 485 | Bailey Williams | |
| 486 | Edward Sherman | |
| 487 | John Lombardo | We need Mike Bloomberg to end the bipartisan, ruinous fiscal insanity in government and save this country for our children. The major entitlement programs must be reduced and the people who will benefit forced to pay more now and receive benefits later. The pervasive pigs-at-a-trough political mentality in Congress must be turned on its head. |
| 488 | John Smith | it's about time. |
| 489 | Eileen | We need you now. |

| 492 | Todd Bayuk | We need real change in America, Not the change offered by 4 existing candidates. We need someone who is going to tackle the issues of the economy, crime, immigration, energy and healthcare and has a proven record. The paradigm has to shift. If it can be done in NYC, imagine what you can do for America. |
| 493 | Dwight Dixon | Please run,, all the other candidates are dimwitts,, we really need a solid candidate |
| 494 | Charlene Patrick | |
| 495 | David Francis | |
| 496 | susan elbaum | Please run Mike. The alternatives (Clinton, Obama, and McCain) are horrible. You are the only hope for this country. Please hear our call and get on the state ballots so we can vote some competence in our chief executive. |
| 497 | Manny Sola | It's high time that somone with real world experience and a solid track record in building and running a lucrative large corporation take the helm of the largest one in the world.
It's called the United States of America.
We NEED fiscal and moral RESPONSIBILITY!
Please run, you have my vote. |
| 498 | Irene Misconi | |
| 499 | greg pietrzykowski | Please run as an independent candidate. Finally stick it to the contrived un-democratic 2 party system in this country. It is not written anywhere in the constitution or bill of rights that as an American I am given the honor to vote for a Democrat or Republican only. |
