Comments: Dr. Conway had been my doctor, friend and a shoulder to talk to for over 20 years and is the most compassionate man I have ever met. I am alive thanks to him, as is one of my oldest friends and my mother. This is a stunt to make the justice system pat themselves on the back and get a gold star-it is no basis of fact if they knew the man himself. Newsdat's bias on not allowing his side to be published is the most damming thing of all.

Comments: I second everything you said. I had a very severe asthma attack due to bronchitis. Dr Conway came to my home sat with me until 2:00 am until I was able to breath. When my husband said Doc how much do I owe you he thought for a moment then said "How about a cup of tea"

Comments: Dr. Conway is an 'old-fashioned' type doctor who takes time with you, despite having people waiting and if he is unsure about something he will get back to you and not push a pill on you to get you out the door. He is a caring man and the pack of lies tarnishing him is very upsetting to me. They claim he made all this money-well where is it? His office is a small one with no new furniture, he has bills, according to Newsday, which is none of anyone;s business but him. So if he made all of it, why has he not improved himself, a betetr car, etc? One reason-IT NEVER HAPPENED! Even the feds can't find it or will name a source-it is a white wash pure and simple. My son is frantic looking for a new doctor he can trust as he has no insurance. Conway was the only one who cared for him and not what he could pay. He should have a statue ericted for him, not this biased attack onhis name and his 37 years of caring for people. It is a great loss to the community and his many friends. Thank you.

Comments: I feel so fortunate to have had Dr. Conway as my doctor for the past 20 years. He is a good, good caring man, who has helped many people who I referred to him. He never cared about payment, just about helping. I miss being able to call him with any concerns I had for myself or my family. I think of him everyday.

Comments: He was my primary care physician for almost twenty years and a finer, selfish doctor does not exist. He actually cares about his patients and spends the time listening to them. He saved my life by not rushing me into surgery and allowing me the time to research and interview surgeons. He gave me the option to have monthly tests done to follow the progression of my test results. Due to this method of observation I was able to take the time necessary to access the proper preoperative care and make an informed decision about my options. He listened to me and guided me on my medical journey. I am here today thanks to Dr. William Conway.

Comments: Dr. Conway is a rare find in a world that is so oft wrong. He is by far, everything that we hope and strive to be. He is fare, compassionate, honest, loving, and true. There is not an ounce of malice in him. He is a sad victim of the vultures of government. Stop preying on him! He does not deserve the crucifixion the courts are putting him though.

Comments: He was also my doc for almost 30 yrs. He is the most selfless person I have ever met. I know of no other doctor that would work the hours Doc C has & mostly without pay. God must have a higher plan for this man & it can't be rotting in jail. I am sickened by the thought. He is innocent, I have no doubt whatsover.

Comments: Dr. William Conway is a concerned, caring, & compassionate man. He is truly a godsend to people who would not normally get quality medical care because of their inability to pay. He has gone above & beyond for many of his patients. He works with us, and with our families (when he's permitted to) to give us the best quality care that he can provide. He has saved me from death, paralysis & addiction. He's never ceased to be concerned about my well being, going so far as to call me himself one morning when the elevator was broken because he knew i couldn't walk the flight of stairs to his office & he didn't want me to inconvenience me by making me come in and have no way of getting to him. The amount of love he has for his patients is unsurpassed by everything except his love of healing his patients and seeing them improve. He makes you feel like a member of his family and has done everything in his power to make lives better for countless people.

Comments: Hippocratic Oath: Modern Version I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant: I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow. I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism. I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug. I will not be ashamed to say "I know not," nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient's recovery. I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God. I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick. I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure. I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm. If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live and remembered with affection thereafter. May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help. —Written in 1964 by Louis Lasagna, Academic Dean of the School of Medicine at Tufts University, and used in many medical schools today. Dr. Conway is the living embodiment of this oath. A healer, a friend, a true man amongst men. He puts all other "doctors" to shame with his selflessness and compassion. If we had more people like Doc C and not just as a doctor, this world would be a much better place.

Comments: Dr. Conway is a caring, compassionate doctor. One who puts his patients first. One who doesn't order unnecessary tests. A doctor who takes the time to listen to the patient as a person .The doctor who goes over every single bit of a test and explains it to his patient in layman's terms Dr. Conway is the only doctor of dozens I have seen who, even though my condition isn't curable, after leaving from an appointment with him I have a big smile on my face and feel just so good even though there's nothing he can really do to heal me. I am not on any prescription drugs because there are none that really help me and Dr. Conway will not prescribe medication unless it will help. I'm smiling because this doctor really listens to me, answers all my questions, and doesn't rush me out of the office. He cares so much about his patients, always putting them first and explaining everything. His passion for medicine and helping people just shines through him making me, and I'm sure countless others, so thankful to have a doctor who cares about me as a human being. This is the doctor I know.
