Name: Arthur Clooney on Aug 17, 2011Comments: I can't believe that an educational and such a great character as Dora the explorer is being dropped in exchange for what looks like a shallow, fashion focused teenager. What you are doing in here is effectively killing the successful admirable educational character called Dora in exchange for a commercial version in hopes to profit more and exploit this growing trend of pushing children away from their child world into an adult world. To that matter, you could've as well created a new character and leave the great Dora as is. The new Dora is not representative of the values of the old Dora, and is not oriented to the same toddler/child public. ShameFlag

Name: Elizabeth Smith on Nov 10, 2011Comments: I realize you want to make a profit. You need to compete for consumer dollars against other companies who advertise sexist b.s. Take the moral high-ground, market Dora as the Outdoorswoman she is. Don't compete. Create a new market and capitalize on it while the others are selling sexist b.s. Let my sons see a Real Girl, the original Dora. A girl who had adventures outdoors; who reads; who interact with the environment; who is focused on the world around her.Flag

Flag
