We the undersigned believe Sahil Mehta should go into EM and NOT radiology. EM will allow him to: 1) Work with underserved populations (and in reality he would be the first and last provider this population would ever see). 2) Pursue International Work 3) Be entertained (fast paced, short interactions) 4) Have good working hours (ie time for golf) 5) Learn many different procedures It's as if the field of EM was made for Sahil. Radiology is a bad fit for Sahil because: 1) He will be too lazy to pursue IR and will settle for diagnostics (which he will absolutely loathe, but will be the only option that provides him with the lifestyle he desires) 2) Whoever heard of IR for poor people 3) Diagnostic radiology compensation will decrease and he will regret it. 4) Will bitch to all of us about his job. For all these reasons we believe Sahil Mehta will be making a terrible decision if he chooses Radiology and instead should pursue EM.
