Belfast’s beautiful and beloved Floral Hall holds a special place in the hearts of many local citizens today. The old art deco dance hall first opened in the 1930’s and was the place to go throughout the fifties and sixties. The Floral Hall’s sudden closure in the early seventies due to the Troubles resulted in the building being neglected and slowly left to deteriorate. Since then the iconic dance hall has been forgotten about, unlike the memories which will live on forever. Please sign this petition to encourage the Belfast City Council [owners of the building] to take action and start a refurbishment project.
