   Comments: Windows live serves a unique purpose and has been with us for so long it is a vital part of so many people's lives. It is NOT just another messenger program, it is THE BEST messenger program. skype does not work as well as MSN and never will. it does so much more than pretty much all other programs and so many people use it in their every day life. things like skype take a back seat, only really used for video calling. msn is VITAL and should not be ditched. it is a unique program and simply needs to be publicized more or given newer advantages over other programs, rather than being given up on completely.

   Comments: Skype might be nice for many people but there is a bunch of others who have been using MSN for years and years. Those people do not like the Skype. They don't like the interface, they don't like the way it works etc. Shame on Microsoft for letting those people down. The other day I wanted to send a picture to my friend who lives overseas. I could not send him a picture because he switched to Skype! I cannot stand Skype. I will wtay with MSN till the last day. After that, I am done with Microsoft. I will stop using my hotmail and of course I will not go for the Skype thing. I might go with a gmail instead as well.

    Comments: I use WLM to talk to my best friend who lives overseas. I don't like Skype. It uses up too much of my bandwith. The Skype chat is quite laggy and you are unable to customize text. It's just boring. I have been using WLM for at least six years now. I don't know what I would do without it. Thanks to WLM I have met some of the best people I know. I am quite distraught with the decision Microsoft has made. I hope they change their minds.

    Comments: Love MSN Messenger. Loathe Skype. Things I hate about Skype - can't set status before you log in. Can't change text colour to help distinguish your comments from your friends. Can't send pictures . Interface looks rubbish compared with cleaner lines of Messenger. Skype all cluttered with phone call functions etc which instant messengers probably do not want to use or they would not be in an IM application in the first place. Not as obvious when someone signs in or messages you as Messnger. Doesn't seem to shut down properly. LOATHE IT!

    Comments: Skype is nothing but junk but here's why, #1 it has bad service meaning you get disconnected all the time. #2 Skype lies about your net speed and your Computers performance. #3 Skype takes way too many resources to run meaning that if you only have 1 GB or ram on your PC its not going to run smoothly. #4 You cannot add any Custom content to skype at all meaning emoticons, skins , animated avatars and many other things. #5 Skype's User interface is buggy and not user Friendly at all. #6 On skype you cannot send voice messages or pictures to view, all you can do is download download and download people would rather not download anymore content just to see what their friends or family want to show you.
