Comments: Move to Skype from WLM?...not gonna happen. I'll find something more similar to WLM. If I wanted Skype I would already have it. Microsoft is going to alienate a lot of people with this stupid move.

Comments: Microsoft is such a large company, good luck hoping they will even see this. I mean, they are now like Apple in thinking what they say is right for everyone. Just look at Windows 8! Microsoft, the leader in Desktop operating systems, is now forcing the tablet age! Yeah. If they say Skype is the new age, convert or die.

Comments: I want MSN to stay! There is so much I love about it and I have always felt safe on it unlike Skype where I fear that some stranger might randomly call me and what not. Plus, all my friends and business is on msn and none of them want to move to Skype as they all hate that messenger. Please, allow us to keep msn!

Comments: This is an outrage! I thought something like this would happen soon and i was right. Why get rid of something that works fine and is reliable? Theres no need for this at all, I personally cant stand social networking sites like facebook and skype because it just seems totally unneccessary when you have msn, it looks as though those of us who love msn will have no choice but to conform now. I will miss the awesome smileys i have got over the years too! It was good while it lasted msn, R.I.P

Comments: Windows Live Messenger is overall just a better service for people who DON'T want to just sit there on the mic or webcam all day. It's easier to use, more intuitive and an overall better product for text chat, in addition to having many features that Skype does not.
