Comments: According to the information in the article, it still doesn't make sense to close MSN down, as of yet at least. MSN has more users, and has had at least a decade to upgrade features to the users satisfaction. MSN is also easier to use, and generally runs faster than Skype, especially Skype calls. My point is, that while MSN is more popular than Skype, it seems like a very foolish move to erase it. It really will just push people to rival companies who have similar software, instead of pushing people to Skype.

Comments: You've got to be kidding me! MSN has been the only messenger I've been faithful to! The earlier version were the best and I did whatever I could to keep them.

Comments: Skype just seems so much more primitive and clunky than Messenger! I don't know anybody who uses Skype, and have about 100 contacts on Messenger, many of whom have deliberately avoided Skype because it's just not as user friendly or feature rich as Messenger.

Comments: I think WLM should very much stay up and running and NOT be replaced. Reasoning, it's a fun little way to have group chats and it's where we have out RP sessions. Please do not get rid of this! Thank you!

Comments: Maybe if they didn't screw it up with the latest versions then people would still use it! I miss being able to doodle with friends over msn, collaborate with musicians with Voice Clips and Stereo Mix, and how it used to be a light-weight application on my computer instead of the processor-hungry messenger it's become. That's why I moved to other messengers. Maybe you'll listen now =/
