Name: Jeff Keipp on Jan 17, 2009Comments: Rottweiler are sweet loving dogs and it is not there fault that certain owners raise them improperly. I have two rottweilers one female and one male they are nothing but big babies. My mothers maltise is more aggressive then they are. As usual the many have to suffer for a few idiots.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 21, 2009Comments: I have a male rottie and although we have only had him for about 3 months it was the best decision we have ever made adding him to our family he is wonderful with my 2 very young kids and very loyal to us as a family. Its not the dogs fault that some owners dont properly take care of them. any dog will have aggressive tendencies if raised the wrong way. please dont punish this breed just because of a few people that arent responsible pet ownersFlag

Name: Will Kaponyas on Dec 26, 2010Comments: If you really think about why some rottweiler are mean than you would not even think about banning rottweilers. A owner can make any dog mean if he doesnt feed it and love it and protect it and respect it. Just like a human if you do that to a human his whole life that human is going to turn on you same with a dog. Rottweilers are the most loyal, friendly, loving, playful dogs that will die for his owner just to make him happy if the dog is treated right. I have had 2 rottweilers now and they have been great around kids and babys and other dogs they didnt know but if some guys trys to hurt my family infront of the rottweiler than you better watch out cause rottweilers will not let anything happen to there owners if there owners do the same. Im sure that if I treated my rottweiler bad he would turn on me too but my dogs would die for my family just to see them smile. They are very loyal and protective dogs if you treat them how you want to be treated. Instead of them putting all this time in to banning rottweilers they should be going after the owners of all those rottweilers and abuse them and they should see how it feels to be chained up for days in cold weather starving with no food or water. If I ever saw a guy abusing any dog I would be more than happy to let my big rottweiler attack him and then I would finish him off. The only thing my familly has to worry about is my rottweiler licking them too much and wanting to play with toys. If I ever met the guy or guys who passed this law I would personally let them meet my fist and my boot and that aint a threat its a promise. I knew a rottweiler who was trained to protect there family his whole life and finally when he did save there life after a robber came in with a knife and the rottweiler killed the robber before the robber could kill them. That rottweiler got put down cause he was doing what he was born and trained to do, PROTECT! one of my rottweilers saved me from a beating before and from my house getting broke into 1 time. Everyone join in on the fight to save these beautiful, loving, loyal dogs!!!!!!!Flag

Name: Beverly Jensen on Jan 11, 2011Comments: I bought my first rottweiler when my daughter was 1 and my son was a newborn, The rottweiler was the best dog pick I could of made. My rott allowed my kids to climb pull and chew on her and was the greatest dog ever. She lived her whole life with our family, My kids are now grown and they both have rotts with their babys and I have anether with me..Than god for rotts. The best behaved, mannered and loving dog ever, I lived in sandiego,18 yrs,vegas17yrs, and Mo,13 yrs and I have seen alot of familys with rotts and all were great. But now and then you see hoodlums that take breads and abuse them to make them mean. It is never the breed, It is who is raising it and how !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Flag
