Final supporters
The Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is a profitable distribution and retail entity that we all own. And the profits play a vital role in paying for the services that we all need and use.
It’s not a small number. Over the last five years the LDB has produced $4.3 Billion in provincial income. That’s a lot of money to help fund the services this province needs.
Ask yourself, do you want those profits to go to big companies or do you want them to flow through something we all own to help a place where we all live?
Without any public consultation, without any business case and with a troubling lack of foresight the provincial government is rushing to sell off public liquor distribution.
Once public liquor distribution is gone, it’s gone forever. One sell-off at the expense of a revenue source that was built to last for generations.
I urge the government to stop the sale of the LDB.

Why do they always sell off our assets for a quick buck. This is gonna hurt us all long term. Stop the sale.
greedy politicians at it again. we own it so keep it public.
Total incompetence. Government just wants to dump everything that actually makes money so their buddies can get rich.
Leave the LDB alone. Its worked fine for years. Stop trying to fix things that arent broken.
4.3 billion! That money stays in the province. Privatization only lines corporate pockets. Bad idea.
