Recently, it has come to our attention that the company plans on closing down the Life Safer Forums web site. We strongly encourage you to reconsider and let us keep the site open as a means of looking up vehicle information or to simply have it available for the purpose of a 2nd opinion when working on an unfamiliar vehicle. You're also able to add input and comment on the Life Safer Forums to assist others with information that other techs might not now. Take for example the new Ford F150's with factory remote start. If you look on the new LMG page, it says to use a blue/white wire on the ignition harness. In cutting that wire, the vehicle will still start when using the remote start feature, thus bypassing our ignition interlock. This was discovered by a few technicians from different locations and has already been shared on the old Life Safer Forums page.
