The silence from the leadership remains frustrating but I am still tracking every development behind the scenes. I read the latest comments regarding the name change and they confirm exactly why this fight is worth the exhaustion.

Reaching this point has been a long road and the weight of the work is starting to settle in. Seeing this many people agree that our community deserves to be heard keeps me moving forward even when I feel exhausted. We are not letting this go.

Warlight's original! Warzone sounds like a name that a 3-year old came up with. Besides, there's already tons of games out there called Warzone, and its troubling to find Warlight through any search engines when the name Warzone is much too overused already.
WL is part of our leisure time but we love it the way it is ive devoted myself to this game for 2 years and i really love telling my friends i m playing "warlight" the new name sucks
Warlight is such a good name, Warzone is less "epic." Warlight fits the game itself much better.
I hadn't even heard about this until i started looking up how often you can change your name, so that's a good sign... But yeah, 'Warzone' just sounds sorta stupid. 'Warlight' may not entirely make sense, but it sounds cool
'Warlight' is a unique name. 'Warzone' seems almost childish

WarLight is the current brand. Its recognizable, effortless to keep, supported by your current fanbase, and not off-putting to any new fans.
