No Ban on "Assault Weapons"

31 Signatures Goal: 500,000

Through forums such as these and other online outlets we as gun owners are able to have our voices heard. The main-stream media speaks very loudly when it has no legitimate argument or when it wants to further the agenda of the corporation(s) that own their First Amendment Rights. "WE THE PEOPLE" have the right to be heard just as much as any corporation or government officials. This petition is for NOT banning "assault weapons" or High-capacity magazines. First off, in the world of gun owners the AR-15 and AR-10 platform rifles are referred to as "sport tactical" weapons. They are made for shooting targets, self-defense and for varmint hunting depending on the caliber of the weapon. They are modernized versions of the rifles our grand dads used to use. They are designed to be accurate, comfortable, and safe to handle. PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO HELP CURTAIL ANY NEW LEGISLATION THAT WOULD BAN SEMI-AUTOMATIC GUNS. We need EDUCATION, TRAINING, and the prevention of mentally ill people from acquiring ANY type of firearm, legally or otherwise.
