The Downingtown redistricting committee has made the recommendation to send the Williamsburg neighborhood and Norwood House Apartments to Downingtown West. This would split East Ward- about 80% of the kids would go to East and 20% to west. This could be hard for the kids who have to go to a different high school from their friends and may cause a "friction" in the community feeling of East Ward. this plan has not been presented or approved by the school board.
