Comments: I think the reasons Paris Hilton and her friend sited for why she should not go to jail are ridiculous!! Not only should she have to serve the sentence that was handed to her, but she should also have to serve extra time for trying to use her celebrity status to get her out of being punished...

Comments: No way should she get off the hook on this. Anyone else that drives under suspension & show up late for court would get the book thrown at them Let her learn a valuable lesson, money buys alot of things, but avoiding justice isnt one of them

Comments: If she was an average american would anyone care if she went to jail or not If she is allowed an out becasue of who she is then we need to reevaulate the american justice system. Also its not like it was one offense and she wont do it again. She will probably do it several more times because she thinks she can.

Comments: If she is pardoned, that would set a horrible example for the United States of America and other countries about our legal status. The courts are under eyes and they need to follow the law just like they do for everyone else. Treat her as though she doesn't have money. Don't let America fall to something so low as to pardon someone due to money.

Comments: I do not feel that she should be pardoned. She violated her probation, which was for driving under the influence. Yes, no one was injured when she violated her probation, but what about next time If she is pardoned and does not have to face the negative consequences for her irresponsible behavior, then she will continue to act irresponsibly because there will be no punishment for those actions.
