Comments: I am a type 1 diabetic and have a 4.5 hr delay in my gastric track. I can not take reglan cause it makes me sick and knocks me out in 30 min of taking it. Propulsid worked till I could not mix it with my other meds and it was taken off the market. Since being on the Domperidone for almost 2 years now the pain and nausia from the gastroparesis has died down. If I don't continue with the domperidone then i have to look at surgery. I would greatly appreciate domperdione be approved for gastroparesis in the united states. If it is not then i have no choice but to get it from other countries.

Comments: What will it take to get this research done! Look at other countries and independent studies and take this seriously! There are so many dangerous drugs with FDA approval, this just doesn't make any sense.

Comments: Absolutely necessary for those suffer with Domperidone. The medication IS available here in Canada and is effectively controling Gastroparesis. A country as big and as mighty as USA and this is overlooked. It's high time this was re-visited so that those suffering from this dibilatating disease can get this effective medication.

Comments: I have worked with approximately 100 people taking this medication over the past 3 years and have yet to see any side effects more serious than a headache. I think that it is doing a lot of people a grave disservice to ban its use in the US. It sounds very political which doesn't put the FDA in a very respectable position.

Comments: Used domperidone to maintain milk supply when I returned to work (infant was 4 mos old). I successfully breastfed my son until 2.5 years of age. Took the drug for three months while under immense stress at work, changing jobs, relocating. I was unable to take Reglan. Have a history of depression, and Reglan caused severe agitation and anxiety with two doses! This drug worked remarkably well with no side effects at all.
