Name: Stephen James Binns on Dec 18, 2012Comments: Charles City County did not have any real input into the Chickahominy Alternative route that was put into place so many years ago, and then forgotten. It is not an appropriate route for our county.Flag

Name: Doris Fulwideer on Dec 18, 2012Comments: As a resident of Charles City County I ask Dominion not put their transmission line through our county. In addition to all the reasons listed I fear our Historical properties will be affected.Flag

Name: Kevin Slattum on Dec 19, 2012Comments: The James River is already used and impacted by many industrial / commercial enterprises. Put the power line there. Don't impact the pristine Chickahominy River and it's wetlands. Do the right thing for taxpayer's pocketbook and for our environment and select the shortest route with the least impact - over the James River. Kevin SlattumFlag

Name: STEVE FUHRMANN on Dec 21, 2012Comments: We, citizens of Charles City, do not want yet another massive commercial power line and corridor crossing our county, destroying our view-sheds, and permanently despoiling forests and wetlands, so that distant population centers can hungrily consume even more power, while we experience frequent local power outages.Flag

Name: David Ledbetter on Jan 2, 2013Comments: Uise of the apparently incomplete right-of-way Dominion acquired without notice to Charles City County in the early 1970's would be disasterous for historic, scenic and environmental resources in the County, would harm residents' economic interests and could threaten the health of many who live in close proximity. The proposed Surry route would be far less damaging to the environment, historic resources and quality of life and other interests of citizens. It also would be substantially less costly and is acceptable to PJM, which will share in its costs of construction.Flag
