This petition seeks to establish a law that states all public school children in middle school and high schools within the Virginia Beach Public School System, at the beginning and end of every school year, must be given the opportunity to be educated about the signs of domestic violence and the resources available to them if they or someone they know are in an abusive relationship.  Prevention, by systematic education and outreach at a young age, will stop it from being a big problem in future generations<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
