Our generations are becoming more lost over time. There are a lot more drugs and crime on the street. They may be sorting out what might be going on outside, but they say it's what counts on the inside.

But what is on the inside?

We all know morals and values, we know how to respect and understand; so domestic abuse and child abuse is understood that it is wrong. There is a lot more abuse around, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. Abuse can even be defined financially and sexually.

WE MUST STOP THIS ABUSE.

According to the briefing papers in the Home Affairs Section, Pat Strickland wrote "Domestic violence accounted for 15% of all violent incidents in 2011/12. Nearly one third of women and nearly one fifth of men say they have experienced domestic abuse since the age of 16. In 2012/13 there were 88,110 domestic violence cases in England and Wales that were referred to the CPS. This is not the same as the total number of people arrested for the offence."

For the amount of people who are abused; we need to teach others not to be abusive. Many offenders have been let off with a caution, but that shouldn't mean they can walk around without accepting they were wrong. There are plenty of abusers who have been able to walk away with a slap on the wrist.

So if beating a man/woman or a child only gives you a slap on the wrist then there is no real justice served. No-one should get off lightly for nearly killing someone else.

JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT DEAD DOESN'T MEAN IT'S NOT WRONG TO HURT SOMEONE.

It's even more wrong when a child is abused. A child depends on their parents to help them learn right and wrong in life; to protect them.If these children are being abused, then where will the right and wrong lay next?

We must fight for a better life for our children, including many adults which have lived in domestic abuse.

I have made this petition solely based on teaching right from wrong; to all adults and children.
A law should be invoked that any adult (aged 16 and over) that has been cautioned, or who has not spent previous time in jail for the abuse they have committed, must spend either 2 years in jail or have the option of spending 4 years of doing community service.

There are many people who will happily sign this petition, this is behaviour that we need to stop from controlling further generations.
