Comments: Issue fines to the owners who let the dogs run free around and dirty the streets parks and the whole of Zichron Yaacov. It is disgusting.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Comments: Don't spoil beautiful Zichron with piles of dog mess....owners should clear up. If you have enough time and energy to walk your dog, you have the time and energy to clear up its poo. If you are an irresponsible owner and don't walk your dog and just let it roam free, you don't deserve the privilege of owning a dog.

Comments: And the same goes to Yokneam too where I live. I have a dog, she is kept tied up except when being walked with a leash... I carry bags to clear up after her - anything else is unacceptable

Comments: My son was bitten by a dog last week, thank G-d he wasn't injured badly, but emotionally he was a mess. My children have been chased down streets by loose dogs and are often afraid to walk to their chugim because of dogs barking and chasing after them. This needs to stop!

Comments: The Moatza has a duty to Zichron Yaakov residents to keep the streets safe and clean. Any dog found roaming most definitely should be caught and sent to a shelter for adoption. Anyone found taking a dog for a walk without a leash and not cleaning up the dog feces should be fined,

Comments: It's because I love animals that I want this to work. The law is that an owner who lets their dog run out without a lead is fined 500 shekels. If someone's dog gets run over that is worse than keeping them tied up safely The Moatza are failing Zichron residents, especially vulnerable people.

Comments: This situation is very dangerous to children in Zichron. Apart from the trauma and pain of being attacked by a mad-looking dog, te child (or adult) is also in danger of catching rabies. Dogs need to be controlled NOW and their owners need to be CONTROLLED by the imposition of heavy fines, internment of unleashed dogs etc. PLEASE ACT NOW.

Comments: I concur wholeheartedly! The numbers of dogs accompanying their owners that are not on leashes is stunning. Dogs take out after people and the owners do nothing. At best, they should be fined for ignoring the safety of people on the street (and beaches for that matter).
