DogParksNow.org is circulating petitions to show support in the community for the creation of a Family Dog Park in Watson Park, at 23rd Street and Jackson Street in the Northside Neighborhood of San Jose, CA. The San Jose City Council has performed site surveys and is ready to go to bid for contractors; however, the council would like to see if the community supports this Family Dog Park before their final vote in approximately January 2003. DogParksNow.org is an organization of volunteers who share the belief that Family Dog Parks promote responsible dog ownership, improving public health, and cultivating better canine neighbors and citizens. |
