Comments: I believe there is a strong need for a fenced dog park. People do not always have the strength to walk their dogs and a park where dogs could run would help tire out the dogs and make the owners much happier.

Comments: A dog park in Chestertown would really be great! I take my shelties to Wilmer Park and walk them but to have a place that they could be loose and run would really be wonderful.

Comments: Dog parks in Lancaster, PA and other cities are free, so I don't agree with the "fee" part of this petition.

Comments: In anything we do we should take a breath and ask ourselves - what would we want or do If I were a dog, I would want a dog park. This is a great way to bring different lives in the community together - it's a win win from all angels.

Comments: please consider the dogs of this Earth. They are tied up on leashes, chains, rope, etc. They are not free to roam the yards, streets, fields like they once were in the 20th Century. Dog parks are the only way the dogs can have freedom to sniff the Earth, run and play freely with others (if they want) or just be themselves. PLEASE MAKE THE CHEESTERWON DOG PARK A REALITY. THANK YOU.

Comments: Yards with fences are frowned on by most neighborhoods. There are many older people who for one reason or another cannot walk or exercise their dogs. This would be a wonderful way for our companions to 'have some fun' and to stay safe.

Comments: I think that a dog park would be a great idea just as long as all pet owners pick up after their pet. It seems that they let their dog go to the bathroom anywhere and at times they dont pick up after them. Dogs do need excercise and i love to run around with my dog and a park would be great.
