My location is great and support the updating of zoning laws to incorporate dog day care as viable facilities in NC2 zoning restrictions.Flag

Name: Julia Adams on Nov 9, 2005State:Country:Comments: There are many annoying noise factors that happen in large cities. I live one block off of Lake City Way and there is bus traffic, noise from business parking lots, and construction. BUT- I live in the city and not the rural countryside. City dwellers understand some noise is part of the deal. DO NOT TAKE RIGHTS AWAY FROM OTHERS because you are inconvenienced or annoyed at a bit of noise!!! DOGS HAVE TO BE TREATED HUMANELY. Do not restrict animal rights and the freedom to enjoy life in the future. Great Dog and other facilities provide beneficial services to animals, their owners, and the neighbors. Dogs are social beings and deserve a place to express themselves during business hours. A lot of petty people make noise during the day, and night- for goodness sake- arrest the drag racers that speed up and down Lake City Way and BUG ME, but let Great Dog continue to provide solace for animals.Flag

Name: Dawn Potts on Nov 26, 2005State: NJCountry: USComments: Is there approved zoning for grooming. Or pet retailIf so, daycare and boarding are only accessories to this zoning. Therefore a permitted use. Contact your lawyer. This is how I stayed open in my ddc, even though I had an original zoning permit for ddc. In the book it only stated permitted use is grooming or retail. Due to the fact that my grooming was probably open until 7 anyway, daycare became an accessory. If you haven't gone that road try it. Good luck.Flag
