Name: Julie Stonefelt on Aug 25, 2005State: WACountry: USComments: Great Dog provides essential services to the greater Seattle community in a responsible manner. When I have visited their facility I have always been impressed by the cleanliness, the low noise level, and professional staff and facilities. I hope they are allowed to continue offering their daycare and many other needed services to the community of people and animals alike.Flag

I don't even know where we would go for things if we didn't have Great Dog right here in our neighborhood to help us! Save Great Dog - small businesses like this are what make our neighborhoods unique and keep us together as a community of citizens and dog (and cat) lovers!Flag

They are responsible, responsive and thoughtful in the way they conduct their business. There is no reason to alter their business significantly. One of the best services they provide is to promote responsible pet ownership and well-behaved canine citizens of the region.Flag

Name: Carolyn Higgins on Sep 12, 2005State: WACountry:Comments: Great Dog is an enormous asset to our North Seattle community. In our urban world, a service that provides dogs of working families with companionship and an outlet for their intrinsic canine energy promotes the well-being of the canine members of society and their owners. I'd scoffed at the idea of a daycare for dogs before acquiring - for the first time since childhood and the for the first time as a city-dweller - a dog. We would be lost without this service. As a member of a neighborhood where less fortunate dogs than our's are left in tiny back yards to bark all day long, I have to say that non-dog owners also benefit from having neighbors' dogs happily and safely occupied during the day than to be left to drive themselves and everyone around them to despair.Flag

Name: Jess Steadman on Sep 15, 2005State:Country:Comments: The dog daycares in the city of Seattle provide a valuble service to not only pet owners, but non-owners as well. The daycares teach an animal proper socialization and interaction with other people and dogs. With this proper blend of socialiazation and exercise, all of the citizens of Seattle stand to benefit.Flag
