    Comments: I feel sorry for you really but first off you have to understand that not all of these dogs are like this i think that your petition is unfounded and that you really have no idea what youa are doing you should have all your facts straight on these dogs before you do something ridiculous like this what gives you the right to do this think before you act know your information too. Ban dog fighting rather than the dogs.

    Comments: I think that the laws aginst pitbulls are to strict as it is and I own 2 pitbulls and they are the best dogs that I have ever had. The sttistics on dagerous dogs should be reveiwed before you dicide to prototype a dog that was either abused or neglected. My 2 pits were raised with kids and otheranimals for the last 41/2 years and they haven;t hurt them at all. If you think that pitbulls are bad goto dagerousdogs.com and they will tell you that a border collie is the worst dog and it has the worst dispsition of all dogs.     Comments: My 10 pound poodle was attacked on my property by 2 pit bulls. These dogs were riding in the back of a pick up truck driving down the road. They jumped out of the truck and chased my dog down my driveway to me and got ahold of him. Thank God he was not harmed to badly, I am having more problems with it mentally than the dog. I can't believe what I saw. I am a animal lover and have been since I could walk, but these animals are not handled right by their owners at all. Those dogs should never have been loose in the truck if they cannot keep them from jumping out. I could only imagine had I been right there with my dog on a leash or a small child playing or something. The damages may have been way worse.

    Comments: I think this is totally absurd! Not all pit bulls are mean. I have a pit bull and she lives near kids and I have 3 kids of my own. She loves them very much and will never hurt them. The big problem is the dogs are usaully not in the right situation, abused, teased,not trained, and not socialized. Also, people like you who give them a bad name. NOT ALL PITT BULLS ARE MEAN!

    Comments: Two pit bulls jumped through the window and into my truck and attacked and almost killed my little dog. I do not see how I was uninjured. The people who own these pit bulls let them run loose and they have killed many dogs and it is just a matter of time before they kill or maim a person or child. The police and dog catcher won't do a thing to help the innocent citizens. I am in total agreement with you.

    Comments: I am sorry for the injury to Mother in law, but the damage is a result of irresposible dog ownership. When a man drinks Jack Daniels all night and kills someone driving home, we don't ban drinking alcohol and we don't ban cars. Hit the owners of these dogs with stiff felonies and jail time. Don't restrict my right as a college educated, responsible adult to own these dogs if i want to. Please don't let the emotion of this injury cloud the logic that your arguement is missing.

    Comments: While my baby Yorkie, named Kitty was being cared for by my niece while I was on vacation a German Shepard attacked and killed the puppy. We have an address of the suspected killer but I only have 10 days from Oct. 27 to legally do anything. So far Animal Control has not done anything. They are close today for elections. I don't know who to talk to about what I can do. The owners won't answer the door. I am concerned for the children and pets walking in that neighborhood. Kitty was on a leash at the time. And this killer lives across the street from my 1 1/2 year old great niece. We have posted signs on door and posts. But no phone calls yet. We have been told by neighbors that they know the killer. Any suggestions Thank you, Kathy
