John DrakeThanks to this corrupt department and their continuous and bizarre false statments and undue harrassment of good parents over a number of years, I now can't help but believe in my heart that about 75% of the "cases" of child neglect and abuse are total fiction. I'm sorry, but that's the way I feel.
Margaret LeybourneI want to enlist my assistance. Phone (07) 55 687 478 (home number)
NicoleDoCS need to be investigated. My daughter was taken from from her father and they wont give her to me. they wont tell me anything. Even my solicitor said DoCS can do what they like. No they can;t and it is time something was done.

Anonymousdocs have a job to do and they have to ensure the safety of the child or children. they have to ensure a child safety is put first. but when it comes down to questioning 5 and 7 year olds and wording them up i think the whole system should be revamped and restructured. i also belive more training should be given to docs workers and also a parents group needs to be provided by state government. dont blame docs blame the government for giving school children the power to do what they want.
Ann FullerNSW DOCS or JIRT have cancelled our 1 hour per month supervised contact with our grandchildren because I gave them a kiss and said "here is a kiss from your dad" after we were told that we hadn't to give them information about their dad! How is that information?
julie peacockThe entire Docs system is in total disarray. In particular QLD.It needs to be completely overhauled. All of the innocent families who are battling this government dept need to band together and fight for the return of their children. They may not listen to one voice ,but they WILL listen to a whole group, especially if the basic complains are all the same (which they seem to be).
AnonymousWe definately need a royal commission. I am employed as a support worker and I have witnessed the abusive and concerning behaviour of workers from the Department on numerous occassions. I have witnessed workers misquote a child about who they would like to live with and associated safety concerns. I have attempted to address numerous concerns and breaches of the Departments own legislation and UN Human Rights by writing to the Minister for Community Services. It took over 5 months for me to get a response; the response did not address any of the issues and advised me that the very office I had complained about would continue to monitor the case!! If this type of response doesn't demonstrate the need for a comprehensive and unbiased investigation, I don't know what will!
Mary RulandThis department of seriously incompetent posers needs to be held accountable for their endless mistakes, at least in a way that brings closure to families whose lives they have ruined without a single real reason.

AnonymousWe want accountability for the lives these people in authority have ruined by their gross negligence, why should they be any different from anyone else who can be sued for damages??? We want compensation and Justice, after all this is supposed to be THE legal body where they don't make mistakes... To which the onus should be on the individual we can sue for the severe neglect and damages it's cost us when WE CAN CLEARLY PROVE IT ON BOTH VIDEO AND WITNESS EVIDENCE BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT. Watch out, we're after JUSTICE and we will get it ultimately when everyone finds out what they've been getting away with for so long!

AnonymousI may not live in QLD, but I have experienced first hand the cruelty and misconduct that happens within DOCS (known as Department of Community Services in NSW). This corrupt group need someone to stop them. They are doing illegal activities, but in the name of the Government, they are allowed to do it. They ruin families, cause people to commit suicide, and in my families case, caused death to my sister by preventing us from giving her treatment for cancer. They are in general, a cruel and inhumane group of individuals and shouldn't be allowed to interfere in the lives of people, because they abuse their power and use it to put money in their own pockets.
Matt HumphryI have worked under docs as a youth worker and have been left high and dry by docs. Docs things they can get away with anything
KathrynPlease stop DOC. I grew up as a natural child in a foster family and have spent the last 30 years trying to tell someone anyone about the abuse in the system. My parent abused hundreds of children. Then the took my children. Two haven't been seen for 4 fours. They need to be made accountable.

AnonymousThe Qld Minister for Child Safety (DoCS) MP.Desley Boyle has full knowledge of the increasing abuse our very young children have suffered for many years from a mentally unfit (documented) and vengeful ex partner. Many reports from specialist, doctors, psychiatrist and counsellors even DOCS affiliated counsellors have been either out rightly ignored or not properly investigated. These professionals clearly state there is mental, physical and sexual abuse from the children’s father. The father has threatened to end my life and theirs, all this DoCs has been made aware of for some time, and still they do nothing, except try to find a way to implicate me as the abuser. I believe in turn for myself and the doctors reporting abuse to DOCS I /we have been verbally threatened (witnessed) “not to report further abuse or my children will be removed from my care permanently,” this is the second time I have been threatened by DOCS. I have written letters to the Ombudsman’s office, the Crime and Misconduct Commissioner and they just “pass the buck” nothing is done. DOCS have and do remove children from good parents all to often, why, I feel in part it is to silence the parent who has the most to loose, their children. This should not be allowed to continue to happen. The Courts even have a term for mothers who accuse fathers of all of the above regardless of the proof, and treat them accordingly. The way the court system is I would have to be lucky that they did not give full custody of our children to the father who regularly abuses them as they have done is so many cases before!! My files have been tampered with DoCS and my children have been told by DOCS and the Police “that they are lying”. MP Desley Boyle said in parliament that DoCS will not be investigation further abuse reported to them re this father. Is it any wonder so many children have been needless placed in situations of harm and lost their right to live?

Rosemary ElhageHow many more children have to be abused, harmed or even killed before there is a change.

Yeshvir MonteiroPlease have a complete investigation of this. For the news articles, it appears that several children have either lost their lives or been injured due to slow action by DOCS. This may be the tip of an iceberg. Please act now.

AnonymousI stongly agree that DOCS need to be more afficiant there are to many horror stories and i know of a few personaly. This is not good enough
Sameer ChatterjeeI think what happen to the poor little girl is disgraceful. A little child should not be subjected to any kind of violence. No department should be able to cover up any evidence that may have resulted in death, sucide or abuse of a child, expecially not the DEPARTMENT of CHILD SERVICES.

ANDREW GRANTIt is the world’s real abomination that Children in Australia and in Queensland can be removed from there home just on suspicion alone. The system needs to be reworked and have professionals work for Docs, not people with no life experience just working for a paycheck. There needs to be more rights for parents. Yes there are people out there that really harm their children over And over again. Some make one time mistakes, and many do nothing at all and are on receiving end of a over zealous DoCs worker.
Anonymousmy husband and i have been fighting 2yrs so far 4 our 5 children to come home to us. with the final decision being now 6 weeks away, in that time i have lived a life that i can only discribe as a living hell, but if i donot succeed in 6 weeks, i will go to the next stage, whatever that is, and the next till i die, I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON HAVING THEM RETURNED TO US. and that keeps me going, we need to go to the governor, and write books, the best way to beat docs is to wear them down, they dont have enough workers to handle the case load, and we as parents do have rights, my baby boy is suffering serious trauma. and my teenagers cant take anymore. and i dont blamn them. i have decided to dedicate the rest of my life to changing laws and creating a better system 4 kids in care. there are alot of kids out there that do need a system to protect them, and parents who just arent bad at all that need a system to listern to them and work with there problems, to aid and assist the family unit through bad times, and we the people of Australia have a right to a system that actually works. At the recent 11th Australasian Conference for Child Abuse and Neglect, that was just held on the Gold Coast a few weeks ago, the kids wrote a song for the governor and all others concerned about how noone listerns to them, these are teenagers that know a hell of a lot more about being in care than any person sitting behind a desk, and as far as im concerned there plees may as well have been neo signs, they fell on deaf ears and i agree things need to be changed. thank you for listerning 2 me.
