Please email me if you are in a similar situation or have been through this - can feel so alone in all of this. We miss our girls terribly and are doing everything required of us to have them returned home to us. PEOPLE OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC - STOP AND THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU TAKE THE STEP TO INFORM/NOTIFY DOCS WITH CONCERNS OF CHILD ABUSE/NEGLECT. Don't base everything on face value - context - get the full story, gather the facts - remain objective. There also exists a subcatergory of individuals who often psychopathically inclined (or possibly narcissistic) who use the threat of making notifications to DoCS or even think that DoCS is the perfect "weapon" to exact revenge with. It also appears to be the perfect form of blackmail when medical professionals need to silence you from complaining about acts of negligence/incompetence or simply because the Doctor though you were exaggerating your child's symptoms, questioning diagnosis etc. Unspeakable evil from the most low-life, heartless, manipulative, arse-kissing, cold-blooded, cowardly, calculating, vindictive, morally bankrupt, power-hungry, hypocritical, conniving........... I think I've made my point, but I could go on........ I feel some much contempt towards the two-faced, do-gooders who should have known better. |

| 15 | Anonymous | DoCS seriously need to be investigated.. there are too many workers out there that are extremely biased against people before they have even began to investigate a situation. Ugly separations and parents using children as pawns in a game should be quite obvious.. (well to all except DoCS it appears) when there is no other investigations except during a relationship breakdown the obvious questions should be asked prior to accusing and mistreating generally innocent people. I would think that as soon as these workers become aware of the fact that the relationship has just broken down that the warning bells should immediately be sounding that maybe it is just a ploy to hurt the other parent. I do understand that some cases are real.. what is not right is the prejudgement alot of workers make before even arriving to ask any questions at all. |

They need to be made to follow the Child Protection Act 1999 as it is set out and not bend the rules to suit their own agenda. | 25 | Lisa Lorusso | From what one can gather, it appears you can gather as much of the 'truth' as exists and place it in a binder for a Magistrate to decide.... however, what happens thereafter is completely and utterly disturbing.
There doesn't appear to be a way out of or around their own legislation. I think 'the Parent' is mentioned some 3 times within the whole Child Protection Act, 1999.
VERY VERY DISTURBING INDEED!!! People band together NOW - get together, go see your Shadow Minister for Child Safety (Jann Stuckey in Qld).
This is SYSTEMS ABUSE at its finest - almost perfected - like the perfect murder!

| 29 | Lee Griffin-Scott | I am a foster carer, currently fighting DOCs because of their treatment of the children. The children are meant to be taken into care to protect them from abuse. But as a Carer for nigh on 20yrs, I am more and more disturbed by the fact that it is infact the Department of Child Safety that are the majority perpetrators of the abuse. Children are shuttled from carer to carer without any concern about the children. When the Dept of Child Safety are tired of carers, they simply make up allegations and have them struck off the register. The Department of Child Safety is rotten to the very core. It needs to be dismantled and totally restructed, without the little 23yr old girls without any life experience ruling the roost. Either the Dept of Child Safety need to really assess what it is that they are doing or not do the job at all.
It is important to state here and now, that I am a carer in the midst of litigation with the dreaded Dept of Child Safety and I will not give up the fight until I have drawn my last breath, or they are all out of a job. |

DOCS have no real interest in what the children need, they are there to meet a budget and justfy their own jobs, whilst climbing the ladder to their own special level of incompetence. THAT U CANNOT GIVE BACK THE CHILDREN BECAUSE THE PERSON WHOM THE ALLERGATION IS MADE AGAINST (FALSELY MADE AGAINST- WILL NOT AGREE TO YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. OUR LAWYER STATES BUT HE IS AGREEING AND THEN QUICKLY THIS IS CHANGED TO NO TOO LATE TOO COLD GOT TO GO HOME. COME BACK MONDAY.-HOW INSENSITIVE. THEN LAWYER ASKS THEM TOO MAKE TIME FOR MONDAY. OH........BUT THEY CAN'T EVEN DO THAT BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE TO SHUFFLE AROUND THEIR WORK SCHEDULE BOOK TO SEE WHO CAN BE AT THE CONFERENCE IN THEIR OFFICE.
SO PLEASE LOOK IN TO THESE DEPARTMENTS, BECAUSE THEY ARE BREAKING UP INNOCENT FAMILIES AS NOT ALL PEOPLE REPORTED TO DOCS ARE GUILTY OF THEIR ALLEGED CRIMES. IN FACT MOST ARE INNOCENT. |

Losing jobs due to the departments constant interuptions that could have been well and truely avoided. The department was asked numerous times to give us notice for things so that our jobs are not going to be taken away and no... never have they given us that. My baby, at 4 weeks of age was taken... my son, who is in care at present, is 1 year on the 7th august... and the dept still claim that they are working with us....something needs to change immediately! |
