Comments: I, for one, am a social conservative who strongly disagrees with Mr. Dobson's comments. Mr. Dobson's tantrum-esque attitude will ensure a liberal Democrat in the White House in 2009 if other, more sane, social conservatives and evangelicals do not stand up to him. Mr. Dobson, revoke your comments today!

Comments: Dr. Dobson, I respect your work as a psychologist, a minister to families, and for the media work done by Focus on the Family. But your political views are naive.

Comments: I've always admired Focus on the Family and Dr. Dobson. However, with his comments about Mayor Giuliani and other Presidential candidates, Dr. Dobson seems to have sinned one of the easiest sins to commit, pride.

Comments: Dr. Dobson the Republican party is NOT a Religious organization. I'm a Baptist but, I feel that holding a party "hostage" is beyond the pale.

Comments: James Dobson, you're a great man, but many of us who are Christians favor looking at candidates as a whole and their leadership abilities rather than their stances on a few issues. I've grown up in a Christian home and have been a Republican all my life and I'm proudly supporting Rudy for President.

Comments: How dare you sir! I cannot believe that you and your small fringe would rather stay home and cheer on Hillary than support a man that is dedicated to appointing Supreme Court justices in the mold of Thomas, Roberts, and Scalia. Rudy Giuliani is a great man...a man of courage..and a man that has stood up for Christianity in the past by shutting down peep-shows and prostitution in New York as well as going after the art galleries that depicted the Virgin Mary using elephant dung and presented the cross in a jar of urine. You and the far-extreme voices of hate do not represent the Christian movement in politics. You would not have a problem with other pro-choicers running and you refuse to even back the true "traditional" conservative Sam Brownback in the race. Would it have anything do do with the fact that Giuliani and Brownback are both Catholic

Comments: Rudy would be the greatest conservative president of our age- I think that he could even rival Reagan. Intellectual depth and hands-on management are sorely lacking in the White House. Do we want someone who spouts bromides or a grown up who can get something done

Comments: Before Giuliani, Times Square was a hotbed of prostitution and sex shops. Today you can't even imagine that this was its history. Giuliani clearly changed NY and it is a much healthier society as a result.

Comments: Pro-Life and Pro-Rudy. He's the man for the job in these times we face. Rudy has reached out to the pro-life movement, and it's time we reached out back to him. I respect Mr. Dobson, but statements like this are not helpful for the very causes he supports. A President Giuliani would be a friend to conservatives. President Clinton or President Obama would not.

Comments: Rudy reduced abortions in NYC by 16% during his time as Mayor. Nationally, abortions were reduced by 13%. Giuliani has proven that improving a person's life via lower taxes, jobs and school choice has more of an impact morally than forcing a person to make choices legislatively. We should support Rudy not because we dislike Clinton, but b/c Rudy is a proven leader who has made reforms and gotten government out of people's lives. Crime reduced, abortions decreased and adoptions increased. Other "pro-life" leaders haven't been able to accomplish that.
