    Comments: I grew up with the Chief, having lived in the Champaign area all my life. I never thought that representation of the Chief and the Illini Indians in general was disrespectful. On the contrary, it showcases our heritage and gives us pride to call ourselves Illini. As a current graduate student, I fully support the Chief and DO NOT wish to see another mascot selected to replace him. It just wouldn't be the same, and it definitely hasn't been since his revocation.
