The California Bill, SB-185 Public Postsecondary Education, "would authorize the University of California, and the California State University to consider race, gender ethnicity, and natural origin, along with other relevant factors, in undergraduate and graduate admissions to the maximum extent permitted by the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution, Section 31 of article I of the California Constitution, and relevant case law”, as stated in the bill itself, introduced by Senator Hernandez.  To sum it up, scholarships will vary based on cultural differences. This Bills’ essential goal is to create more diversity on campuses and allow everyone to get the same college opportunity based on their background.

You should know that when signing this petition today you understand cultural differences.  You at the same time realize that different cultures can work together to achieve something greater than before.  This petition is not about separation but none other than allowing everybody to save some money for college.  We understand that college is very expensive and anything to help anyone get in brings us closer to equal opportunity.

If you understand that diversity on campus the admissions and scholarships is in fact helpful, please sign below.
