Des Moines Iowa

I will start off by saying I am thankful for police, the police who do their Jobs serving and protecting our communities. The police whom treat all the community the same no matter race or gender.

But there are parts of the department whom take their badge and abuse it. Who pick out victims in their communities to harrass, constantly follow and even plant drugs or give bogas charges.

And yes there are criminals but I'm not talking about them this is about individuals, mainly in our "black" community whom are constantly being harrassed, followed, watched on every corner, being pulled over for no reasons, being charged with bogas charges, even having drugs planted in stops.

There have been a number of victims I've seen with my own eyes that have been harrassed by certain police here in Des Moines Iowa.

One was just the other night he was minding his own business and stopped at QT for a Gatorade before heading home. He had a video running on Facebook live to show the whole incident. He saw the squad car sitting in lot across the street as he pulls off the police follow. He was going the speed limit, had seat belt on, everything was legit. From following from the west side to the east side they get him. When asked for his license and registration and proof of insurance which again were all legit even the bill of sale of the vehicle and where the vehicle was purchased which was really none of their business. Everything checked out but when police were asked why they pulled him over their excuse was they could not see the paper plate in the window which the victim showed in video you could see the paper plate clear as day.

Which brings me to a unfortunate person who has been constantly harassed for years. His nightmares started and his teen years when he was beat up by police and hospitalized his family pursued a lawsuit against the police which they had no idea that outcome of that action. Due to this lawsuit which is still in court this man was constantly harassed abused has been in jail several times for false charges. They have his name as a criminal which he is not. Living everyday looking over his shoulder he tried his best to live a somewhat normal life. He worked hard, he was a great father ad father figure to many children. He was very friendly and caring for others. The charges he has are false being witness to one back in 2011 he was pulled over and car searched nothing was found on or in his vehicle and was still charged with possession of drugs. How is this possible but it is it happened..

Now this same man is sitting behind bars facing numerous charges and one being vehicular homicide.

One night he was out with his family, working all week as he always done he wanted to enjoy himself and relax. Doing nothing wrong. We'll he was on his way home and what do you know the police are pulling him over. As he was pulling over he just said to himself "I'm sick of these people harassing me, I did nothing wrong" not to mention he has always felt they have wanted him dead since the day they beat him up when he was a teen. So he made a decision not expecting the outcome but being constantly harassed, who know what you would do at this moment, so he speed off. This led to a short high speed chase which ended in a terrible car accident. The oncoming vehicle is a non-licensed driver who was also speeding. The accident was terrible the driver of the other vehicle lost his life and this man being harassed and followed was not only pulled out of his vehicle on the scene of the accident and it kicked in his face by the police he was life-flighted to Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced dead before an open heart surgery. Then two days after this procedure he was not recovered by no means but the hospital he was taken to works with police and he was released into their custody. Talking to numerous doctors nurses surgeons this man did not receive a full recovery which if he had a human right he should have his right to a full recovery. In jail he has not recovered fully he was not giving meds for days but by the grace of God he's still alive.

This man has suffered from police brutality harassment has never been treated properly by police and now he has to deal with the rest of his life knowing he hurt someone let alone took a life. This man is one of the most kind-hearted helping loving caring person I know. He had to live his whole life in hell which not one person deserves especially when they are not a criminal they betray him to be. They have ran his name and his family's name through the dirt and this is not right.

This case was a setup this man they have wanted in a grave or behind bars forever. And unless we all stand together and help this man they will get what they want. In our City the police lawyers hospitals they all stick together and they all stand by police. Which is why his family cant even hire a lawyer due to none will take this case due to his lawsuit against the police beating. So it's up to us as a community to help even if it's just one person an innocent man who has been set up and now is facing the rest of his life behind bars for a mistake he did but only beings sick of police harassment and feared for his own life. He had no intentions of the accident, he has never harmed anyone.

Darnell Browder deserves his human rights as any of us recieve

His only mistake was the lawsuit his family filed due to the police beating when he was a teenager. And ever since the rest of his life was full of police misconduct brutality harassment. None of this would have happened, a man's life that was lost would still be here if the police had not spent years harassing Darnell..
