How does the government of Iran can justify denial of citizenship of an Iranian woman despite the existing citizenship law that declares a person born in Iran remains Iranian forever? How could IRI attemps to sign and ratify the CEDAW which is incapable of defending the most basice human rights of its citizens in general, and that of the women and girls in particular.
If IRI does not reconsider its deprivation of Iranian women's citizenship,this unconscionable act, it once again proves patriarchy's desperate attempt to hold on to, and promote male power at all costs.
The government of Iran must know that Iranian women's resistant against violation of their rights not only would not subside , but it has increased and would increase everyday as the regim tries to tighten its grip on its male supremist power.
