   Comments: I think that this would be an excellent idea for Freedom Air to take up. Townsville is one of the fastest growing ciites in Australia and it has an under-utilized tourism infrastructure. Towsvillie is an exciting place! I would think that as the only direct link between NZ and Towsville, Freedom Air would have full flights and would find it to be well worth their time to provide this service.

    Comments: We would be very keen to have direct flight acess to NZ, all our family are there and it is hard to link flights between townsville - brisbane -nz, as well as very costly and time consuming, we have had up to five hour wait overs in brisbane, which makes for a long days travel. We love having family and friends come visit us so that we can show off our wonderfull new home, but the time and money and stopovers make it very danting for most of our family, as they can go to Melbourne-Sydney-Brisbane in one flight, and for cheaper. With the amount of kiwis living here i'm sure direct flights would be fantastic for the local economy.

    Comments: This is a great idea. Non-business travel in and out of Townsville is poorly serviced by the major airlines. We need more of it, and NZ would become a significant destination if it were to be more convenient/economical.

    Comments: Are you crazy Not only do ex-pats living in Townsville get an opportunity to fly direct to NZ, Freedom Air (or any airline) have a tremendous marketing opportunity to promote packages to Townsville/Magnetic Island direct. Just 2 flights a week would be better than nothing surely
