We the people petition the United States Supreme Court, Congress, and all legislative representatives to reinstitute the diploma privilege for lawyers. The current system fails to address the grievances of its citizens and is biased towards honest lawyers with integrity. The bar exam is compromised. The scoring is ambiguous and the courts refuse to resolve any complaints against state bars leaving an bar examinee no redress for his/her grievances alleging a failed bar exam. The current system invites criminal activity and bribery leaving honest people no legal remedies. The scales are imbalanced on the side of the lawyers who contribute to judges election campaigns. The average layperson does not stand a chance in court. A license to practice law has resulted in a license to steal from clients and clients have little to no remedies becauses they are all in it together. This is a monopoly which must be broken. Do away with the bar exam reinstate the diploma privilege to allow honest lawyers in who will truly represent the people at an affordable cost.
