I don't feel like the responsible people should be penalized by having the switch delayed. If this delay happens, the money lost by the cable companies due to running both analog and digital facilities will be passed down to us and our monthly bills will increase...meaning, the people that did what they are supposed to and ARE prepared, will have to pay out of pocket to help those that didn't prepare. We shouldn't be held accountable for their lack of responsibility. It was Obama himself that said we need to take responsibility for our actions, and now he is trying to bail out the irresponsible by penalizing those of us that DID do the right thing...This petition is for keeping the date the same, and letting those who failed to prepare suffer the consequences of THEIR OWN actions.
