We, true fans of the Batman character, humbly accept defeat in Warner Brothers Studios decision to cast Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader in the upcoming motion picture sequel to "Man of Steel". We also realize that this decision is final and irreversible and that no amount of petitioning is going to change it.

We would, however, like to ask for a digital removal of Ben Affleck's facial disfigurement, commonly and crudely known as "butt chin". We believe that while Ben Affleck may very well surprise us all and deliver a performance of a lifetime, a butt crack on the face of The Dark Knight is simply uncacceptable and today's technology allows for a simple solution to the butt chin problem. We'd like for it to be utilized in the upcoming film.
