    Comments: Awful, It makes me sick! Here in western PA, the rate of development is unstopable. Nowone in the communities seem to care as it brings in money. My in-laws were denied a land easement that they applied for by the county commissioner because a new highway is going through and he wants the are developed.

    Comments: My daughter and I are into horses and have seven at our home. We live in a rural area but there are developments going up all around us! I am really tired of the loss of farmland these past years. My daughter has chosen to do a speech on this for english class and she is also very faithful about this topis. I really hope the developments stop because shortly we wont have any land left.

    Comments: It is sad to see so much land being built up by these eye sores with country names, like "Meadowbrook" where there used to be meadows, or "Hunter's Ridge" where there used to be land for wild animals to roam. I think it is ironic that they name the developments like this, when they are destroying the things they are named after! I would like to buy a large amount of acreage, but cannot because all of the farms are being sold for millions to developers! What is becoming of our country

    Comments: I live on a small dairy farm in Idaho. There are houses going in all around where there used to be just farmland. I am doing a research paper on this, and have discovered that there are actually laws that say that people are not supposed to build on farmland. but the people ignore those laws because nobody knows them. There is alot of undeveloped land. My suggestion would be to have the people who want to build houses, look over that land instead of already developed farmland. We need to stop using up the farmland. This is serious!
