Name: John Klipsch on Aug 15, 2004State: MDCountry: USComments: doctors don't have all the information when prescribing this drug to women for Endometriosis, and women don't have all the information when deciding whether or not to get the injections, resulting in many women suffering serious, long-lasting negative side effects. In light of this lack of information, I ask of you to conduct an investigation into the side effects of Lupron. with your help we can stop the devastating results from this aweful drug. Thank you, John KlipschFlag

I think it's Takeda Abbot responsability to inform all of us the side efects, so the doctors can monitor the paciente and be aware of any serious changes. Sincerely, Carmen Ignorance is the enemy, educate the people...Flag

Name: Catheryn Clarke on Aug 24, 2004State: CACountry: USComments: I wish I had never chosen to take Lupron. My doctor did not inform me properly of the severe side effects that I experienced. Also doctors should also inform themselves that this drug is marked to consumers for only ONE SIX MONTH DOSAGE PER LIFETIME. Too many doctors are looking to make money by overly prescribing this extremely costly "medication" to suffering women. I wonder if the prostate cancer patients are pressured as much as endometriosis sufferers to spend the hundreds of dollars a month once you have already received the lifetime limit.Flag

Name: Angela Stephens on Oct 3, 2004State: GACountry: USComments: I took both The three month Lupron and the 1 month. I have had 4 treatments over the past 5 yrs. Times ranging from 6 month intervals to a year. I had very bad side effects the last few times I had taken it. The last time I took Lupron Depot 3 month interval, I had to stop taking it due to very bad side effects. Some where toxic to my body. I also have osteopenia. When I went to the doctors for help no one wanted responsibility for what was happening to my body. More research needs to be done please, and not just prescribing it to whomever bc they have endometriosis. I believe under the right circumstances and right person it may work. Just not a ploy to treat something with a drug they know little about with endometriosis. It just needs to be done to help others not make other conditions coupled with side effects. When you are ill you will do anything to feel better. Please help us understand more before just saying well maybe. Thank you! AngelaFlag
